The Planning Commission is in the process of finishing up on a NEW Town Plan. We are a very fortunate community in that we have many citizens who are concerned with the future of Derby and are willing to voice their opinions on what direction the Town should be headed.This gives the Planning Commission the full spectrum of views and opinions necessary to come up with a comprehensive plan that is good for Derby as a whole.When the New Plan is completed we hope that it will generate a great deal of discussion during the adoption process. A minimum of four public hearings are required before the Plan can be voted on and if any significate changes are made another hearing will be held. We are hoping to have the New Plan complete in time for the 2010 Town Meeting.

Because the Planning Commission is continually working on the Plan, the draft available on this web site may not reflect the most recent changes. Please check with the Zoning Administrator for recent changes. Comments and suggestions on the draft are appreciated.
